I got my first deer yesterday morning. Six points and about 140lbs. Thursday morning I had a 10 point come in but never got a clear shot at him.

The six pointer had been fighting and lost his left side of his rack. Walked right up under me and all around for 25 mins before I got a side shot for the lungs. Trying to get the dagnibit pictures off of my phone to the comp. Pictures to follow.

Hope to get the 10 pointer this morning.

Actually, I should have shot the doe, that way I could have waited and killed the fawn when it came to look for mommy. :o). J/K

Going back out to the woods again today in about 30 mins. Put corn out yesterday all along the ridge where they move out in the morning. Should make for a good doe or another buck.
