If you used to subscribe to City of Heroes but no longer do so, you can play free now till Sunday night. Follow the link. I don't think you need a Credit Card given they have changed requirements for Trial accounts and Friend invites to not require them.
Currently we are on Issue 13 which adds in off line character development (similar to EVE but not quite), more reward options, more character classes, and more functionality to the UI.
I know a few of you are playing other MMOs, but surely you can take a couple days to 're-investigate' this MMO? If you choose to reactivate after this weekend, let me know and I'll personally pay for your first month back.
