Figured I would start a little early with promoting the Run to the Wall. That is the Vietnam War Memorial.

The run will be a national event with Rolling Thunder, Patriot guard, Vietnam Vet M/C and a few others. You do not have to be a member of any group to ride with any of the above. You do have to support the troops and Love your country.

Also, this is one of the largest gatherings of motorcycles there is. It takes place in May and dates will be comeing out soon. Most likely Memorial day.

Hope some will plan to come along. It is awsome.

Man I could go for this man. I love the country, the troops, the bike (1150 RT) and the idea of getting out of town. Keep us posted BiF.

I will be talking with some friends in Rolling Thunder in the next couple of weeks and will post back. People find the Rolling Thunder Chapter in their area (it is a national org.) and just email them. They should give the information. I will be posting in the near future. It happens Memorial Day and people start a couple days befor the event to take their time. I already know of about 50 to 75 that will be leaving Charlotte and going to Raleigh to meet up with about 50 to 75 and on to Richmond to meet with about 100 from That area.

It is something that you only see once in a life time unless you do it yearly. You will need to make reservations a couple months befor you go to make sure you have a room. Keep watching and I will update.

Used to be a bunch from around here that went but not sure now. The Vietnam Vets are mostly too old but their sons started the Second Brigade and they probably go. I have never gone cus I thought you should have military background but found out a few years ago that wasn't the case.

I hope to be able to make a trek to The Wall, we have a small wall here for the Oregon Troops.
