My play time online is a bit iffy at present due to AT&T having some issue with my line. Iffy, currently, as in no connection whatsoever. I've been using my Cell Phone to post online.

Anyho...

It was the modem. Thankfully I have my original Modem from Earthlink as well as the one I got from SBC. AT&T’s Motorola appears to be of trash quality compared to the first two and in relation to what other’s have told me about their same models.

I have a Motorola SB5120 that's the bomb. I think they have even better ones or a version newer than mine. Buying your own modem is always better than the junk they provide. I've also used a Linksys that was ok but imho not quite as good as the Motorola.

Good to hear. I would say that the trend to go with junk free-hardware is a recent trend considering my oldest DSL modem is a work horse.
