Crap! Looks like my monitor is going belly up.
What are some of the monitors you guys think are good gaming monitors? Probably go with a 24 wide.

Samsung is just the best bang for the buck imho. My SyncMaster 226bw is awesome (2ms refresh rate can't be beat). I'm fine with 22", but I know we all want the BIGGEST!!!

LOL

Here's a CNET review if you want to check it out:

This one looks sweet too though:

Samsung is my choice also, I'm still using the old style CRT Monitor which is a 21" Samsung with a .2mm Pixel and res of 2048x1536 that was designed for CAD Systems. If it ever dies I will replace it with a LCD but for now the sharpness of my picture quality is just outstanding.

I like the LG's, one of the view that actually make their own panels. But they tend to be a bit pricier than the others

Asus has a killer deal on a 22" right now with really good reviews.

22" samsung for a steal.

Here's a 24" for a good price, Acer tends to be the best bang for the buck imho.

Remember though, as you start cranking up those higher resolutions, it will but a greater strain on your video card. Especially a 24" monitor.

Thanks for the input guys. The suggestions look great. I'm especially interested in Kayjay's offering.
