Membership
Would you like to join OMO?
Can you look in the mirror and have some fun at the expense of the person you see?
Are you mature? Our guideline is 35 +, but we make plenty of exceptions.
Are you a man or a woman? Despite the name, we have women that are members of OMO.
Do you play any of the games on our play list?
Are you more interested in having fun than "conquering the universe"?
If so, get to know us and we'll get to know you. Let us know you're interested in joining. The best thing to do is get a copy of Battlecom and talk to us in a game. Then if it looks like you'd fit in and you're still interested, we'll arrange an initiation game. (Remember, it's about fun not skills.) Once you've been initiated, introduce yourself at our Site Portal or follow our history at our old Ezboard forum.
Note: It is our policy that our members not belong to other groups that we might compete against. (e.g., another Homeworld armada) If you want to join us, leave your old group. If you want to try out a new group, go ahead. Just have the courtesy to let us know. If it doesn't work out and you want to came back, we'll leave a light on for you.

2006 update:
We use Teamspeak and Ventrillo for communications.
Anyone in BF2 wishing to join OMO is expected to join us on Teamspeak/Ventrillo during the game time.
Many in OMO feel our club is much bigger than any one particular game. Although we remain a competative Club, Stats and Ladders mean very little to us here. It is our feeling that OMO will continue, as it has, even after the latest game that we all play goes out of fashion.
So we would like each person in BattleField2 wishing to join OMO to understand clearly that as a new member of OMO, you will loose whatever stats or position you've gained in BattleField2 because [if you make it in the Club] you'll be given a new OMO name and you'll be expected to play with it on our server and you're account here on our boards will reflect your new name as well.
