Sheesh, I don't know Kinda don't look too good when there isn't even a single post in 2 dayz.
Homeworld 3, Battlefield 3...Scrim night with somebody, OMO reunion in Vegas with Aged hosting. I'm just throwing out some ideas for getting a little LIFE back into these old boards. Maybe instead of the old THTH thread we could bring it back as Too Hotty To Handle (soft porn kinda stuff, maybe jokes with a little T&A photos). Still reaching...

Better get that Vegas thing going. A little birdy told me he is moving.
Challenge our boys over at TLB, we are always up for a fun match.
I still play Company of Heores, an AWESOME RTS, and I've been farting around with Supreme Commander 2 as well. Feel free to PM me and arrange some games. I'm mostly Comp Stomping these days.

Well I might not always reply but I check the site every day. Some of us play Bad Company 2 along with some of the BCO's and if we can get a OMO play night started once a week then I will surely jump in. Don't have homeworld but can play Project Torque, All COD series, and all Battlefield series.

Don't get me started... Oops.. To late...
You are totally correct Nosey. This place is dead. I now spend most of my gaming time playing with the BCO guys (Deuce, Fury, Stingray, Sharp, Demon, etc.....). Once in a while I see you, rigs and petri but not often. For the past few years I have tried to get people to play new games and to bring new members into our group but nothing has worked. Hence, we have nothing to post about because we are only ghosts hanging around reliving our past. I can't do anything about it nor can you at this point. We don't play enough games together to promote our group and add new members. I remember what appealed to me when I first became interested in OMO. It was the fact that OMO was a group of older guys that were very talented gamers and yet had some class. Being competitive and mature was our strength. This was the life blood of our group. Now we are just old and bad.
Festus, You are right. Company of Heroes was one of the best RTS games ever and I played it for a couple years for countless hours. Unfortunately I got very few OMOs to ever try it and when some finally did it was a year after the games initial release so the learning curve was very high which caused frustration. I also played a lot of Dawn of War II with the same result.
Nosey, Thanks for caring enough to post. We need to figure this thing out. I really believe we don't try enough new games. So many OMO's didn't even pick up a copy of Bad Company 2. Why not?????? Shooters aren't even my first love and I pre-ordered it. I ordered to just hangout and be part of the group. Now I am one of the few OMO regulars to even play it. (Hear that?????...... That is the sound of me smacking my head on my computer desk!!!!)

"...hanging around reliving our past." Isn't that what old people do?

Wow, some of what Geezer said, sure sounds familiar to me.
You need numbers, and you need to gather around a specific game, especially considering your numbers. Even over at TLB, where we have about 80 dues paying members give or take a few, we have trouble at times finding a game that attracts enough interest that a goodly number of members play it together.
BC2 has done a nice job, so did the Left for Dead games actually, the bring us new members. It's not unusual for old members to return to the club 3, 6 months, or even years later, which I think is a good compliment to the organization.
I've always kind of figured that if you guys ever shut 'er down here, that you'd probably just end up hanging out/joining the BCO guys for the most part. I can't say enough good about TLB though, but it's definitely a different horse than what you guys are used to here.

Mostly horses' asses. The jackasses have all left the club and just come back to annoy us.

Hello all of you fellow old bad Ghosts. Baggy and I are still playing against the Bots. Obviously the bots have more staying power than the OMO members. Sometime soon, I will be upgrading my computer and then... look out, cause I'll be paying you guys a visit on the battlefield; that is, if you all aren't faded away by then. Well, I'll leave you now to contemplate the Bot issue and think up a suitable response. Bye for now from Baggy and I.

My guess is that he is not referring to you Festus or it is good natured humor. You're welcome here and I am thankful that you post regularly.
