Installing it now. Never got into SC 1. Played a little but it didnt grab me. I still play Warcraft 3 custom maps tho. If nothing else I should enjoy making maps with the editor. Watched some beta vids of game play and it looks well done. Pessonally I expect to like DoW 2 better but Ill try it out.
Edit: Got it loaded and tried a few games. Looks good. Playing under the name Hivemind. Suprized that it was available with Zerg being in the game and all. It is the first day its been out tho.

I could not wait. Picked up the collectors edition.
Been enjoying the SP so far. Will give the MP a try out latter.
Handle is Ressev, but I will be adding a Petrified to the profile soon.

I think Dow 2 was better but its not bad. Have not tried SP yet. Just played a few vs comp then into their noob league. The editor looks good as I expected. Lot of ppl bitching about their map ranking system. Have not looked into that yet. If its anything like WC3 there should be some great custom maps.

Yeah, I like DoW2 more for the fact there is not a lot of building to be done. Far more tactical than SCII. The SP story like is actually worth going through. I have not finished it yet, but there is one fun mini-game that takes me back to my old Arcade days and spending rolls of quarters in a night.

Just starting the SP. Into the third mission and its good so far. Would call it almost as good as the DoW SP. That is saying a lot. That top scroller arcade game is some good old school fun.

I really need to go buy it I guess. I think DoW2 was great! I liked Company of Heroes more. I could be called a Relic fanboy. I didn't play StarCraft as I was playing other RTS games at the time (Homeworld and Cataclysm). I am going to be out of town for a week so maybe I will go pick it up.

CoH is THE BEST RTS EVER. No debate, no contest.
If you want to argue it, you lose, because the simple fact that you argue it is not the best underminds your position CUS YOU ARE WRONG form the start.
Starcraft II may be the funnest ever though. DoW was fun but simply does not have the mass appeal to be in the same category.
The simple fact it appealed to so many OMOs supports my argument that it was a niche game. If you argue this it could possibly IMPLODE and the resulting Blackhole of GEEKNESS could devour the entire internets, so DON'T DO IT.
FYI............. I'm on my last night at the resort, and the simple fact you are talking about Starcraft 2 and not my near goddamn death experience saddens me. Yes, saddens me, almost as much as the fact Nosehair read about it.
This report is fueled by Rum and coke...but way hellofalot more Rum than Coke, so there.

First time I've tried COH so I can't compare to the first one. Graphics seem nice though, for a beta, it seems to run really good. Geezer, I suck at the online stuff. Let me know when you've got it setup, we can try setting up a game.

Festus died and is back? Welcome back from the dead.
Played a little CoH. Had more fun vs comp than players tho. Too much cheeze.
For now I am still enjoying SC II. If anyone else gets into it let me know.

Hey Bugger!! I'm on Vacation just now but will be home tomorrow and will d/l SC2 then.
I really like CoH, but only do online stuff with my TLB clan mates, and even then we usually do Comp Stomps. Feel free to dig me up over at TLB or on our TS3 server sometime.
