Hmmm... interesting.

Any of you play Exteel? Been a few months since I played due to their inability to update their GameGaurd to handle Windows 7, but it was fun. This may play along the same lines, though I wonder about the rendering of the screen shots. Square Enix has some good games, but they do a lot of well rendered cut scenes. Still... if the PC version looks as good as the screen shots, I might pick it up for the heck of it.

Looking at some of the trailers, I would say if you were looking for a customizable game with a wide variety of mechs ala Mech Warrior, this may not be it. Though, I dunno, the assembly of the mech in the E3 video may indicate an interesting level of customization via swappable parts, but the sheer variety may still not match the Mech Warrior franchise. Just a feeling.

Games.com trailer suggests speed, customization, and teamwork to win, so I would say it falls more into the Exteel category of gameplay than Mech warrior.

tried exteel. Even looking past the weak graphics I was not impressed.

Just watched all the trailers.

Meh

Mechs on roller blades(or whatever hydromagnetic force) stretches my ability to suspend disbelief just a tad too far. :)

Mechs with hands on guns... same as above.

Gameplay speed looks a tad fast for me as well. I want lumbering, plodding, titanic death machines... not rollerblading Mech/Unreal Tourney play.

The title seems like a poor english translation of something that probably sounds epic in japanese. May as well title it All Your Mechs are Belong To Us.

I want my mechs... real mechs.

Lord, help me to be the person my psychiatrist medicates me to be.
