I just got around to updating the mod itself with some changes, chiefly being that the Raider ascendant mothership docking issues for fighters and corvettes is now fixed. So without further delay here is the link.

put the .big file into your data folder then right click on the homeworld 2 shortcut on your desktop and click properties. Then add this line at the end of your target line after you put a space after the last " mark.
-mod HWUniverse-0.0.95.big
Now pay attention to what i tell you about how to set up your races. If you are launching HWU for the first time or so you will notice that your race box is empty, this applies to the AI as well. What you will want to do is click the dropdown arrow next to the box where you would select Hig or V from stock hw 2. Then Click the option it gives you for yourself and the AI. Now in order to play the race you want you will have to assign it to the position that you want, hence if you have position 1 that means the race you will get is from the player 1 race slot, Position 2 for [player 2 etc. After you are done with all that launch the game. If anyone has problems let me know i will try to help.

Don't bother getting the latest version, 8.2.3. It has a feature called 'power' that is not fun and needs work.
7.4.4 is da shiznit.
I was looking for the "all-races" mod when I stumbled on Complex.
The name says it all. The b@stard is commmmplexxx. All sorts of goodies and ships and techs oh my. 'Honor' point system and research points for doing things and teching up release better things at certain thresholds. Infinity minus about three ways to tweak a battle before start.
All beacuse I saw a copy of HW2 online for cheap and clicked add to cart.
Freakin' Cataclysm is like the Hope Diamond!!! Go try and buy a copy online. Hw and HW2 sure ... Cataclysm is a rare bird indeed apparently.

Complex is for HW2. You want Modules??? The frackin' Mothership can sport about two dozen once you are all teched up. Four each of flak, missiles and ion batteries... all sorts of other crap like defense field etc.
You can even dock the research ship, crew ship and mothership to the shipyard to make this uber-Voltron-like master ship.
I am going to download and try Leviathan's this weekend. :)
