Evidently if you had a disc copy it might not sync with the digital download. Different versions, so you are best just d/l the digital copy thru Origin if you want to play. Seems like there are lots of servers.

Fun game still today. The navy battles, air wars, etc make it lots of giggles still. Have seen a few DC servers too.

It says no punk buster option without patch, but I do not see any patch option on EA website. WTF is punkbuster a no go???!!!

Not sure, I have yet to figure that one out either. I have only found one hacker so far, so I don't know it's a big issue yet. More of an issue is finding the right server. Some are full of camping kids, but others are really good.

Yep I just found out about it today. I been playing BFBC2 a lot and some BF3. I will download 1942 if you guys think you all will be playing.
What game are you guys playing now?
I rebuilt my PC to play BF3 but never see any of you guys on.
How come OMO doesn't have a game server?

I'm still playing BF2 and noticed an influx of new players lately. You can tell they are new because they keep eyeing cheaters. Lot of fun torturing these guys. Lot of fun and full servers. Must be able to get BF2 cheap somewhere!
