Greetings all,
Max Drive here. I am a new Freelancer player who came here looking for a server that isn't all cheats and trash-talk. Thanks to Arcane, I think I've found a good one. I took a long look around and I think I've found an online home too. I look forward to meeting all of you and becoming a part of your community.
I am a disabled widower who loves computer foolishness. I have several, all of which have unique problems, most of which seem to be induced by the Gates Virus (98, XP). I'd run Linux but it won't run Freelancer.

Well gentlemen, here I am with egg on my face already. I have just been reading posts in this forum and find that I have inadvertently committed a major faux pas. Please accept my humble apology for my previous post. I thought I knew what I was doing, but I have neither been initiated nor named yet.
I assure you that I meant no offense nor any breach of protocol. My error was ignorance rather than malice and I most humbly apologize.
Unfortunately, I do not have nor do I play the games I have seen mentioned here. I became Max Drive on the BBS game Tradewars and have been Max ever since. I curently am involved in Freelancer which is a modernized and greatly enhanced Tradewars. If I may be initiated through Freelancer I shall gladly return to this forum for a legitimate post. Until then I shall remain an observer here.

Hi Ginko,
Where do you play? I'd enjoy meeting you as soon as my Athlon is back up. Right now I'm on one of the backups which is only an AMD 400 and won't Freelance. I fried a BIOS chip on the Athlon's Mainboard. Just waiting for shipping.

I've been playing on Frontier-Station(Arcane's Server). I'm working on getting my relations better with Corsairs so I can get me one of den Titans :).

Hello Ginko,
Titans are excellent, especially when you have wandered around for hours with a half-dozen salvaged level 10 guns and nothing to mount them on.
I may be pointing out the obvious, but Corsairs hate Outcasts if I remember correctly (Age and Diabetes are memory killers!)and one or two missions against Outcasts for any faction will bring your Corsair alignment near neutral. Then a mission from Cadiz and they'll sell you the Titan.
Once you have the Titan and are really comfortable with it, load up and go after Nomads. Salvage guns from them for your Titan and you become nearly omnipotent. Wicked guns!
Liberty Rogues won't survive one hit! It becomes pitiful.
