The game is playable.
Game client
It appears that the client is available for download now. However, if you try to play it, it will say no servers available.
Which server?
Server names aren't known yet. Once available, I'll post something about it so we can get on the same one.
By consensus, we'll go with a PvE server. I'm not sure if there will be RP-PvE servers, but that's what we did last time. Preferences? My experience has been that RP servers are a little less "salty", but it's not a night and day difference.
Class selections
If you know what you want to play, add it below. Once you have a name picked out, add that too, so we can add each other to the friends list.
With 5 of us, we might have a decent dungeon group.

well we have to buy the game to get the classic from what I am reading so we will have both versions new and new classic. What's wrong with night elfs Pacey seems to not like them?

I like night elves.
If you want to be a hunter and play alliance, your only other option is dwarf.
... ok, scratch having decent dungeon group (4 hunters ... LOL)
Oh, if you DO play hunter remember this, everything is hunter loot. People will love you for that!

I'll run a priest (or maybe a Noob Elf hunter, or druid if Arcane doesn't roll a pally).
And I wouldn't wish arcane mage on a dog I didn't like (except the graphics effects are cool).
