I just bought the middle of the road one....whichever that was. Comes with the year pass (even tho I'm ethically against these "passes").
Look me up on Steam.....would love to do some coop to start and then play each other!

I backed the game in Kickstarter/fig... how many years ago was that now? The physical pre-order arrives just as I get back from vacation so this will be good.
Also, Steam has the Demo for Homeworld 3 out now (noticed the alert in Homeworld Mobile) so checking it out.

Honestly...the demo was not good.
Unintuitive controls, haphazard pathfinding, I was not overly impressed.
However, the money has already been spent so I guess we shall see in about 2 weeks.

I couldn't agree more! I'm hoping the extra time is used to bring back some of the old controls. The new ones were horrible.

I'm waiting for a little more positive reviews... $60 bucks is a week's worth of food that I rather not waste if they don't have it right.

I’ve played through the tutorial using the standard controls. HW2 controls are an option, but I haven’t tried that.
The controls are a little clunky, but that could be on me. I haven’t played in a while. I think I could get used to it and the option to go back to the older style is welcome (if it works right).
My immediate take away is with the addition of large physical obstacles. I see where they’re going with the idea, but my reaction was that it takes away something about the original game that really grabbed me - space felt big. HW3 space, at least in the tutorial, doesn’t feel that big.
I’m going to stick with it. Who all’s playing? I’d love to get a friendly multiplayer game with one if you.

I've installed it and fired up the tutorial for 30 min or so using the original style controls. Doesn't feel the same for some reason. I'm going to try the 'new age' controls and see how that goes.
