Posted - Oct 31 2009 : 22:13:01 I think I'd get sea sick playing it so I'll just sit this one out and play all the old XP favorites.

Posted - Oct 31 2009 : 15:48:21 I know I am in. I am a huge Descent fan and this game reminds me of it. Ergo, I have to get it. |

Posted - Oct 31 2009 : 14:01:10 I think I am going to get it bypass. For 18.00 we can get our money out of it. Who else is in?

Posted - Oct 31 2009 : 12:31:03 17.99 on steam wow I might even get this one just for a change of pace. I ran the can my machine handle it on their website and I meet the minumum requirements due to my processor being a duo core not a quad wow. Is there a trial version to dl yet? |

Posted - Oct 31 2009 : 11:19:31 LOL. Now that was funny, because when I had long hair, it did curl. |

Posted - Oct 31 2009 : 05:32:52 lol @ Petri...remember the red, long, curly look you use to have? Before going the short cut/bald look? |

Posted - Oct 30 2009 : 20:29:11 On the plus side, I got my invite for the Star Trek online Beta. |

Posted - Oct 30 2009 : 20:06:30 I used to be strong hold out for Win2k until SP2 for XP came out and some of the games I was interested in would not play with Win2K well. Vista is a Red Headed Step-child (I should know, I was a red-headed step child myself) and Win7, from the experience I have had with it, is better. |

Posted - Oct 30 2009 : 07:51:53 You XP people need to start realizing it is time to upgrade. LOL The handwriting is on the wall and I think they are using a #7 pencil. |

Posted - Oct 30 2009 : 05:32:53 XP is what I be having though!

Posted - Oct 29 2009 : 21:59:49 They claim that the system requirements aren't that high. You need vista or 7 to play it however. XP is not supported. |

Posted - Oct 29 2009 : 16:33:42 I think my rig would blow up if it came anywhere near this game

Posted - Oct 29 2009 : 15:34:06 I would play this for only $18.00. Euro gamer finds some good points to it. I like the 3D aspect.

Posted - Oct 28 2009 : 17:55:44 According to the games website, Beta Testers get 25% off.
Sounds very nice. |

Posted - Oct 28 2009 : 05:26:01 Yes, the beta was nice...and believe it or not you get better shooting while moving. My guess is you will get better shooting while moving and it will help you in, say, BF2 or COD more accurate shooter while moving around. At least I have noticed a little better sure-shot accuracy while moving sideways...just an observation. I'm getting it today.. |

Posted - Oct 28 2009 : 04:36:16 the Game is onsale now for, get this, under 20 smackers. You guys liked the Beta? |
| HEARTBURN-OMO |
Posted - Oct 20 2009 : 06:35:50 Yep, the beta was pretty cool and like I said, once you learn to maneuver around (i.e. camera movement in Homeworld) Then it's a pretty cool game. This would be fun with fellow OMO and BCO guys flying around. There's even some sniping/ambush places both Nosey and our Kentucky boy would love.. I have pre-ordered so we'll see how it goes.. |

Posted - Oct 20 2009 : 06:26:31 I liked the maps, the visuals and 360 degree aspect but I had a hard time navigating and finding who was shooting at me! The one observation that really makes me think about getting this one is the sniping threat. Because it's hard to shoot while zooming around I think too many people will be sitting in one place sniping. |

Posted - Oct 19 2009 : 20:02:22 Oh heavens! THIS IS DESCENT 4! Only, without the Pyro.
Thanks HB! Unless they get dumb with the DRM, I think I'll be getting this one.
Needs Vista or better due to DX10. Given the visuals, I can understand why they don't step it back to DX9. Still... sucks for XP users (or Win2k hold-outs ) |
