Anyone that did the beta ending event did, as you could talk with the commander and he would push you to 40. Plus you could make your nemesis at the police station if you took the quest for it.

They Extended the open beta until tomorrow (sometime) and I was able to go respec and wow, pretty cool at lvl 40! After I got owned by my nemesis and his minions yesterday I was trying to figure out how you were even suppose to be able to fight them. Now I know. lol

I know there are a couple (older mature player groups) that have posted on the CoL forums that looked pretty good. I too had planned to lvl up a couple toons to the point that I can no longer solo the harder lairs.

Yeah that's why I joined the murder herd in AOC, large enough numbers to do the 25 man stuff.
I haven't looked at the super group threads yet I was going to level up and see what groups look good. So far I think it's just you and me bloody heh.

Warhammer pvp is great! the game was built around it,something I miss a lot. Once you get to 40 it gets a little nuts though but still fun!

Did some PvP in Warhammer last night and it really picked up game fun for me. I'm up to level 7.

Very different that you cannot even buy any weapons/armor without doing PvP. At least the only vendors I can find that sell the stuff require you to have renown. So, I am alternating doing a few quests with PvP sessions to keep my guy able to buy/use level appropriate weapons. The drop rate sucks. All the drops in PvP I did not win the roll.

(yes, the mini-hijacks will continue. It's easier than starting my own thread.)

One problem I can see after running around the huge city yesterday for the event, is the fact that most the dungeons/lairs are going to require grouping. Grouping in larger numbers than the 3 or so we have now. lol So, I think it's in our best interest if we find an existing super group to join. I really don't want this game to become another AoC and be great fun but limited cause of our numbers.

yeah I had to adjust my settings, so cool all the heroes fighting giant ass bots. I spent most of my night pvping. It's not great but it's pretty comical.

Yep, it's the same as the beta key (if you pre ordered from EB/Gamestop or Best Buy).

BTW, the end of beta event is pretty cool. The city is huge and the damn bots are epic to kill.

May work, as I think EB and Gamestop are the same company. Did it say on the info at EB that a 3 day head start was part of the bonus? I know some that bought at Amazon and Wal Mart are upset they don't get in.

I was having some trouble, well a whole lot of trouble PvPing, but I went on the forums and look to see what class/ power they were bitching about and I got two of them and it made a whole lot of difference!

Thunder lunge, or something like that from the claws tree, and the shot gun from the munitions tree.
I got 6 kills on my first match!

it's OP for sure they just about have to change it but I'm going to have fun while it's still in the game.

So bloody do you think the key I used for my beta from EB games will work on the head start?

BTW, I will be switching to another @ address because of the early start program. The beta key sent with your pre orders from Best Buy and Game Stop are the same key for the early start program. The client for the open beta is the same as for the early start, so if you have early access (i.e. pre order beta code) then keep your client installed and make sure your using that code and not one from File Planet.

I kinda hope they skip the tutorial area in the full game (i.e. have some other content to lvl up the first 5), but at least by now it only takes me about 15 min or less. lol

yeah you have to be a fan of Warhamemr table top to appreciate a lot of the content. But yeah It's wow graphics but the pvp is better than WoW. It's not that fun of a grind IMO. Champs is at least fun once you get past the tutorial and obtain your travel powers.
