Posted - May 18 2006 : 15:27:27 I have a Geforce 6600 video card and I'm wondering if it is good enough to run BF2 on high video settings , or if I'm wasting my time trying to get it to work? |

Posted - May 19 2006 : 11:25:19 I also run a GeForce 6600 GT (PCIe)1 gig of 512 sticks.Mine runs great on all set to medium. I cam run it on mostly high settings but takes longer to load the maps and once i get in ,it seems to lag (visualy only) untill i walk around a little bit. |

Posted - May 18 2006 : 19:39:20 I run a 6800 GT and I struggle with settings set on high. Runs best in the medium range and high on a couple things you might like such as shadows, or terrain or something like that. |

Posted - May 18 2006 : 15:38:18 High settings are reserved for the real fast cards. I suggest you start everything on medium except dynamic lighting and dynamic shading which you can set on low and get a nice boost in performance without sacrificing too much in the graphics.. My wife, BagLady is using a Verto Nvidia 5900 with these settings and it runs smoothly. Leave the anti-aliasing off, especially on this card and anything lower.
