Posted - Jul 10 2009 : 14:12:45 You can go 4GB, but the your vid card mem is subracted from that to get your total usuable RAM. I had 4GB in my Vista 32 system and a GTX260 w/ 896MB. My usuable RAM was 3.2 GB. So you're better off taking out the old 2 and adding the new 2, if you decide to buy them. Also, thru tomorrow, or as long as supplies last, you can get the Windows 7 upgrade for $50. Then you would get the full benefit of the 4GB, 6GB, or what ever else you might add. |

Posted - Jul 10 2009 : 11:57:18 What flavor of Operating System are you running Nose? Try running CPUID. You should match as closely as possible. You may even wanyt to take out the current ones and just put in 2 new ones.
