...and the President is doing much better.

So the American People have lost faith in it's elected leadership.
why does anyone insist on clinging to Conservative/Liberal, Democrat/Republican
labels to bash across the aisle when it's certainly clear that THAT mentality
is tearing u.s. apart?

do everyone a favor: when you feel the need to title a post that bashes someone else,
take a look in the mirror and ask "Does this help our country?"
if you are not a citizen of this country, then take a look in the mirror and ask:
"Why am i so jealous of America?"

Don't doubt that the approval rating of Congress [or politicians in general] but I think data from so called "POLLS" is absolutely worthless unless you know the specific questions asked, the location asked, and the gender/education/political affilation of the people polled.

When anything goes right, libs/Dems claim they did it all and it was achieved despite Republicans/Bush, and not because of them.

When things go bad and Democrats are hated, it is all Republicans fault, and if that fails, it is everone's fault and no one should be pointing fingers.

With Bush being as bad as he is, the Libs/Dems in Congress should be shining. Instead they stink even worse than Bush. God, if only America would wake up and realize how bad it could REALLY get with a egotistal noob, Obama, leading a moronic/hate filled/bunch-of-loons in Congress, Pelosi and company.

If everyone woke up, McCain (or Ralph Nader) would win in a landlslide.

The only good thing about an Obama win will be the 16 years of Republican control it will ensure 4 years later.

"The (Democratic) Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. ... We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now do you begin to understand me?" --George Orwell, "1984" - And if you have not figured that out by now with Obama in office, there is no hope.

Yes Burniste, I believe that exposing the truth does help our country. If you read that article you will see that these polls do reflect badly upon Republicans because people think the Republicans are still in power.

By spreading the truth about this situation, I hope to keep the do nothing liberals out of power. My apologies to you if the truth stings a bit, but the truth must come out and it must be screamed across this land to combat the daily audio/visual brainwashing from the leftist media in this country.

Liberals say they reflect the views of mainstream America but apparently 91% of the country doesn't agree. I didn't make that up, liberals have earned that.

And by the way Burniste, the President has a better approval rating by about 3 to 4 times over the Congress. I would consider that much better. But I do understand your point.

The blaming Republicans has been going on forever. The Dems can't solve a problem without trying to tax their way out of it. They won't look at the problem and handle it, they will just let it get worse. Look at congress with their leader, Nancy the itch. She is just a power hungry idiot that has done nothing but hurt the country.

Then we have the worst president ever, jimmy carter, visiting the terrorist. The democratics stoop to the lowest level in our history and want a president like obama. Nope, it will not happen. People say one thing in the polls and do another when they realize that their person is a idiot. Watch and see. He will not make it.

Havok, i am a grown man that, except for being a BCO, would qualify as an "OMO".
i do not take what you have said personally, i was hoping to highlight the fact
that partisanship is destroying the process.

[EDIT: i just realized we are in the 2H2H forum. carry on.]

Today the Congress passed the FISA bill allowing the administration to keep listening in on liberals' phone calls. Even Barack Hussein Obama voted "Yea".

So .... props Congress! You have finally done something constructive!
