It should be here:
Drive:\Documents and settings\%User%\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision.
There should be a directory under that called codwaw; I think that is the name.
I found the best way to make a back up is to do an XCopy batch file. If you play on a High Point server, make sure you jump off every few rounds and exit the game to make a back up. The game appears to hard crash the system when you play too long on a high rank server.
The batch file was something like: XCopy "codwaw" "BackUPcodwaw" /E /Y /H
Just open notepad, type the information in and save it with .bat instead of .txt. Something like: CoDBackup.bat. Drop the batch file into the activision folder and run it.
