Hey guys,
With the full release coming tomorrow (11/11/08) I set up a thing called "Clan Pay" with our game server company and PayPal.
If you go to the link below you can donate $5 - $500 and that goes directly to the COD5 server and nothing else.

Not asking for donations, but some had asked about being able to donate. Also, if we find there is good interest and need to bump the server up, we can do that at any time. Right now the server is 16 slots and about $25/month and would only cost about $12 to go up to 24 slots. We don't want to go past that number, but 24 would work great if we had the need.

I'll verify, but I believe we should be able to donate some cashola to the CoD5 server from the OMO server account. Makes no sense to divide and have two seperate servers.

Update:
After hours of writing and editing config files I still can't get the damn thing to start this morning. I have put in a support ticket and hope to have at least a basic server set up running this afternoon.
Once I have a good baseline config file it should go smoother to edit and restart with good settings.

OK, think I finally got the server up and running right.
If you get the game today, please at least stop into the server and test it out a bit.
Are server messages working?
Are maps rotating ok.
ETC?

Just played a few rounds of full version. Couple of really good BIG maps. Slows the action way down. Nothing like CoD4 or even the beta maps.
I think even burnz might like a few of these maps.
I'm really like it. Having more fun then the beta so far.

Sweet, looking forward to the game's arrival. I like big maps and CoD5 on a big map, heck, CoD4 would have been great on a couple big maps, sounds sweet.

I like it!!!!
Plays better than 4. real smooth, great graphics, weapons seem to work like they should.
Much better than the Beta version.

Or not... Best Buy Canceled my order as my work address is "not valid in the US Postal Service systems" (Amazon, Sony, Dell, and others have no issue with the address). Well hey, guess GameStop will get by business.

you called it on map size - cod4 was claustraphobic for me.
missed out on the beta, but can say the retail is
pretty nice. i see why Bloody gave up on BF2.
between Far Cry and Cod5, i'm done playing BF2.

BF2 was fun till something better came along. When 2142 came out, BF 2 was over for me. I had tons of fun with every game weve got together and actually played as a group. Still waiting on my DL pre order. Sposed to be available today......but im awake at 4AM waiting on it...Id go to Wal Mart and pick it up this morning, but its not due till Friday locally. Seems W/M is being told it will be delayed too! And are normally 2 to 3 days late as a rule. Must be the 20K fine for early selling.

Yes, Thats too bad. Sting had the same happen to him. I guess if a person really wants their name in whole. They best pick up the game ASAP and register their name.
I was lucky and I registered late in the afternoon and dirtbag was still available.
