it was right click on game in Origin and "repair Install" that got me going Fossil GL

Warning...that right click seems to work for DLC but I have the DVD and it screwed mine up big time. Had to uninstall the game then reinstall it. Besides that it somehow managed to corrupt my browser files so I had to create a new user profile and transfer old user files over to get it straightened out, about 3 hours I won't get back LOL.

ok right click on game in origin almost worked. It no longer says that I have been disconnected from server it says that I'm playing but there is a black screen with nothing going on. I about to switch to console games if this keeps up...

That's the midnight map Fossil. Stick with it, as the sun comes up the game really kicks in!

lol what button do i push for my night vision goggles?

Got a little further today, actually saw the intro before i got the "snow" map. nothing but white. I'm updating everything and probably going to re install. for some reason it thinks i have windows xp when i have windows 7. I might just by a freaking xbox if I have to upgrade my video card every time a new game comes out.

I'm assuming you did update to the latest drivers as both Nvidia and AMD have released optimised drivers for BF3.

The blizzard map is great too. Just shoot like there is no tomorrow into the snow. You'll see red if yo shoot long enough. Somebody is out there.

Granted some of the Single Player is not that great however the one Carrier mission wher you get to backseat the F-18 is truly outstanding and fully worth doing.
