Would someone be so kind as to lead me by the hand and produce a link for the latest patch that works? please?
then expllain carefully how to reinstall all those other maps?

Your gonn have to get onto TS Pacey.
Arcanes is temporarily down, but mine is up in its place. Refer to the post about TS being down for info.

Mercs Patch Thingy...
Most of the maps have auto-install themselves, Pace. If any don't, stick the map files in
Drive:\Program Files\Mircosoft Games\Mechwarrior Mercenaries\RESOURCE\User Missions

Yea but there is a search button and its probably in the members forum..under the topic...and Pacey is a Smart(a$$)...I mean Smart guy, even to live in the back woods....Hummm

this means that i have not found a single link that works , if that links dont support the reassume functions on the 2 download programs that i use, then its not really possible for me to download it, does this help you to understand the post ?
and i was just asking for help from members that actually could help, so do you have anything that you contribute as real help? or do i just count this as a smartA$$ remark? :)

Hey Pace,
Take a look at this thread. CanadianBiB has a real long post that tells you exactly what to do and links on where to get what you need.
You can also find all the patches / maps on our ftp site (check the members resource forum). If you still have probs let me know and I'll burn a CD for ya.

Arcane would you please burn the CD for me? Every place i found to down load it all either does not support the use of DAP or another down load manager, or when i do get it down loaded it has a corrupt file or some on known error, i did read that other thing that Canada posted, i think it wold be good if he would allow us to archive it with a sticky attached maybe?
Retread i am sorry for my rudeness :( i have been trying to download what i need for over a week, so its like i am holding a very short fuse attached to a big stick of dynamite, not being able to enjoy ANY online play in HW2 , or mecha games = pace being a a$$hole again i apologize

you guys are being so "grown up" about all this. It makes me PROUD to be one of the best dog gone buncha old farts there ever was in one place (in cyber space). And I too feel yer pain pace. We gotta a buncha geeks here though that can put up with the less advanced types like me (can I say you too ?). Good Luck.............I love you man.........
