Try promoting Mercs in the WoW threads. It seems to work for BF2.

Actually, I am thinking of picking up a couple more copies of MW4 since my kids are starting to show an interest in gaming and driving a big robot is fun.  I would rather them blow up bots than peeps.

OK Batty I'm ready. Except.....reinstalled,did the PR1 patch,did the MekTek Mercs Switcher(which did an update),and still I get green servers using newer versions.Eh can you tell me what I need to do?

At 92 Megs Batty should have a week to prepare for you Pace. Actually the only game I have loaded since getting Cable is BF2 and I've been disappointed. I know I'm a Newb but guys hop and jump around and kill me with 2 bullets right after I thought I emptied a full burst in their chest.Part of it is lag I hope,though my Ping is the upper range of average.Seems the newest games are making broadband not good enough,hope I see a big difference in Mercs(If I get it working).

Mine is running. Do this Heartburn 1.uninstall 2.reinstall 3. Patch with PR1 4. Patch with MekPak 21a When you are ready to go Windows firewall must be turned off it blocks the servers.

Ok, I give up. I need some help here or I promise I will take this damn thing and chunk all the versions in the garbage.
I've downloaded everything! from the orignal Vengence-BK-Mercenaries. All the downloads and updates, all the maps and everything. Still I get up and when I try to get into a game it tells me the servers are running a newer version than I am!
Would the best thing to do be uninstalling everything to do with this pitiful game. Then just install Mercs forward? And if that would be the thing to do, could someone please give me a list of everything I need to download and in what order to make it work? Everytime I ask this question I always get bits and pieces or vague answers. I NEED SPECIFICS! I'm frustrated as hell trying to get this game to work so please help if you can before I have a Mech burning party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worse comes to worse, I suppose one of us could mail a burned DVD to you of the whole Mercs Directory. Just make sure you have the basic Mercs installed first.

Well guys, I gave it the all college try. I downloaded and installed until I couldno more. I give up. It's just better than me. I have 8 hours invested and nothing has changed. I guess the good lord doesn't want me to get er cranked up.
