I've been messing around in BK, Prob won't get Mercenary because I'm not smart enough to get all the maps up and running so I can play every multi game.
I dl'ed and followed all the instructions and it worked for a while. Then they don't work anymore,it says I don't have the maps.This is the case with several others I talked to.
That's the most frustrating thing about playing Mech. Unless you have a degree in Comps, you will never be able to keep up and play everygame. Most frustrating to try to getinto a game and it says you have to dl the map and it sends you to a website. You dl the map but it doesn't work. I still think they are missing a big chunk of players if they would make the maps self-extracting. Hell, I still have a cd Arcane sent me that has all the maps, can only get about 25% to work. That's no fun! :(
The thing I found most confusing was there was a program in the map file that had to be run after DL'ing and installing. If I hadn't scanned the Usermissions folder I never would have seen that .EXE in there. Not running it caused all BK maps to crash me to desktop.
Where do I find the MW4/BK map conversions
