OK... I have played BF2 with you guys for going on two weeks now... no wait... scratch that... I have been on your server acting as canon fodder to help others get kill points for going on two weeks now... yeah, that is a more accurate description... The first time I played on your server before I got on your teamspeak channel, you all were killing me so much that I thought, "Dang, is this Old Men Online, or Old Men On Steroids?"

It has been quite fun seeing how many new and different ways I can get fried... despite that, I have noticed that I am actually getting a little better at this game... That can only be attributable to a little expertise and experience rubbing off of all the OMOs that I have had to honor these past few weeks to play with and often get killed by...

With that said, I think this is where I would like to make my home in BF2... I can't think of a better bunch guys to have killing me.... I am interested in becoming an official OMO at such time as there is an opening in the ranks and provided that those who now know me from Teamspeak think that they can continue to tolerate me...

Nude pics of my wife? LOL, well, I am divorced (twice) and to stay in good graces with my current girlfriend , I had best not send any nude pics... yet... LOL...

More about myself... I am 47 years old, an accountant for a privately held office supply distributor, and live near Charlotte, NC. Aside from computer games, I like reading science fiction, going to movies, and traveling (going to Las Vegas this coming weekend). I used to ski and play tennis, but when I tore a calf muscle last year and was on crutches for 5 weeks, I decided that I am getting too old for that stuff.

I have a 17 year old son and a 22 year old daughter, both of whom live nearby. I never served in the military, but have always admired those who did and always had an interest in military history. When I was young, before there were computer games, I played military history board games. I'll bet some of you did too... games by SPI, Avalon Hill, Games Workshop, and so on... I still own all those dinosaurs and occasionally play them, but these days, it is so much easier to just hop on a computer game.

My first multiplayer computer game was Air Warrior, back when it was played on the old dial-up GEnie network. As much time as I spent in Air-to-Air combat with a joy-stick then, you would think I would do better flying in BF2. After that I played a series of MMORPGs, never really going back to the MMO military simulations until now. I played Ultima Online, The Realm, Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, Everquest II, and World of Warcraft.

My girlfriend, Debbie, likes BF2 also, but she wants to practice on single player mode more before jumping into the multiplayer world. You may see her on your server soon. I'll tell her that if I post some nude pics of her it would improve my chances of getting into OMO [}}:-|>>] ... I am sure that would be incentive enough for her to agree...

So, your Girl Friend is a gamer as well? We could use more of a feminine touch - even if she carries an AK-47. You should both jump onto TS.

Yes, do not listen to NOSE, he's got this thing about nude wives.. apart from that he's just crazy. That combination causes muscular spasms which you will notice when Nose is playing battlefield. The odd spasmodic and abnormal movements by his avatar have nothing whatsoever to do with connection or bandwidth.

Tylus, it's great to hear that you feel at home on the OMO BF2 server. Stick around and join in the OMO squads. Most of all, get on Teamspeak when you are playing on the server, it adds to the fun listening to all the fraustated OMO getting slaughtered.

On a serious note. I applaud your GF for playing online games. I just wish my wife would try it. Maybe she get off my back about excesive time online.
I do however have a 13 yr old son that likes to play online. he shows up on the OMO server from time to time just to kick our @ss. and he's been playing on our laptop with a wireless connection.
