Don't know if there is a 'formal' procedure for this or not.

'justshootem' - that little turd kept killing me, then trying to revive me.

I was the freaking commander, didn't think I needed to be worried about turds like that while in an uncappable base!

Anyhow, please BAN the turd.

EA is looking for turds like that Kutta.

If you had a screenshot of him you might be able to send it to him and get him worse than a ban from one server. He could lose ALL his points, rank, and get a ban.

Screenshots are easy DB. You just hit the 'print screen' key. The screen shot is held in a 'buffer' until you cut and paste into a graphics editor (paintshop etc). From there you can edit the shot and output it to a file in the desired format, usualy .jpg or .gif for sharing.

As for making a movie, I'm about to explore that feature as there are so many hilarious moments worthy of recording. If I come across anything worthy of mention I'll make a thread on the subject.

Google FRAPS, this is what a lot of the guys use and they have a free trial version you can play with. I have it loaded, just haven't had the time to figure out exactly how to work it yet. There's another program out there and when I remember where I read it I'll post it, that is better. The only problem with FRAPS is they can only do 30 seconds at a time, if I remember correctly. But, hey, I know nothing about this, just what I have heard.

okay BD after you do a screen shot, to get and look at your screenshot go find
WINDOWS EXPLORER
1. > open MY COMPUTER
2. > open LOCAL DISC (C:) >>>>or whatever your disc is named....
3. > open PROGRAM FILES
4. > open BATTLEFIELD2
5. > open PB
6. > open SCRNSHOT....

now you can copy and paste or cut and paste ( ifin ya dont cut and paste,, it
will keep the screenshot in there so ya cant LOOSE it so easy ).

next just open WINDOWS PAINT program or another editing program (I hate windows paint)

or ya can right click on it it and save it as WALLPAPER

myself i copy the screenshots in a program i use for SCREENSAVERS so i get to see
a newshot from one of many games every 6 secs or so, forgive me if this was overkill
thank me ifin i accidently managed to actually help ya and dont listen to
anything that crazyarse batty says about me, cause hes gone batty eh?

Fudro i couldnt find no "BUFFER THINGY" so i found it this way :) , so if you could do a
thing like this so the other dummy's could know how to do that movie thing i
would aprecciate it myself

BUFFER ?? HAHAHAHAHEHEHEHEHEHOHOHOHOHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

How do I quote another post on these forums?

Anyhow, Heartburn wrote:

That is the intention of this thread. I don't believe I have admin rights on the OMO server, and if I do, have no idea what to do, thus the post to ban this turd.

it was customary also that when a OMO made such a request that it was honored
straight up with no fussing, so my question is will this be done? please, or
at least discuss it? thanks

Agreed - I do not make such requests lightly.

As much as I detest many things during the game, such as getting TK punished as commander during an arty strike when they rush in, I would not ask for a ban.

Intentionally TKing somebody, especially the commander who if he/she is worth their salt is focused on the command screen and is oblivious to sneak attacks by their own teammates, well that is worth a serious smackdown and a ban - in my never humble opinion.

You make a quote by blocking it as such:

"BUFFER ?? HAHAHAHAHEHEHEHEHEHOHOHOHOHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

buffer

1. An area of memory used for storing messages. Typically, a
buffer will have other attributes such as an input pointer
(where new data will be written into the buffer), and output
pointer (where the next item will be read from) and/or a count
of the space used or free. Buffers are used to decouple
processes so that the reader and writer may operate at
different speeds or on different sized blocks of data.

There are many different algorithms for using buffers, e.g.
first-in first-out (FIFO or shelf), last-in first-out (LIFO or
stack), double buffering (allowing one buffer to be read while
the other is being written), cyclic buffer (reading or writing
past the end wraps around to the beginning).

I always like taking the opportunity to EJUKATE Pacey.
