Just wondering why did you set your tickets so high? While playing last night I noticed that the ticket start count was like 300. That really drags out alot of maps that you wish would just end already. Any thoughts on lowering that?

It is set like the server came to us. I didn't realize it was higher than other servers.

NP. Yeah 300 is alot of tickets. Makes the map take awhile. Can you adjust the ticket count?

Nope just checked and the ticket count is based on map size.. 64 player maps have a lot of tickets. We can adjust map size and have been discussing that.

Heh... It really makes it drag when there are only 12 people on the server.

With a 28 player server, you should resize your maps to 32 player size, and even 16 player size. With the 16 player size you get some real bloodbaths.

Amen, Festus. Big maps without enough people just become helo frag fests and/or flag hopping missions.

Yup...players like action, and frankly with the big 64 player maps and large ticket counts the OMO server can "drag" a bit.

Time for a change of settings IMHO.

I wanted to do that but we got a couple of Oldies that just want a relaxed, sit back and make an occasional kill type of atmosphere. As you can tell, by the amount of death I have, I love being right in the middle of a fire fight. It gets intense but it sure gets the blood pumping.

I think we gotta look at the maps on a case by case basis and not just say hey lets change all the maps to 32 or 16 from 64. Each map has it's own individual features.

I'll have to agree with Dementia too. Some maps should be large and others cut down to provide a more intense fight as Cathy says.
