Gink use to hammer down with us in DCF......Ishmel..youve probably only seen Festus's posts as of late....They are quite(whats the word)..bland maybe, compared to what they use to be.

okay Tread ill sure accept that, ther are times when my blood pressure gets out of control
and i have to go back to the hospital, that i do get very tired, and just flat drained, it
is hard not to be depressed or to be depressed. but never fear i married a redneck girl....
thats what i fear :)

Hey Ginko we have ventrilo installed (the free version)but can't get connected I put in the address that is posted and the pass.I can't connect to TS or Ven am I doing something wrong ?

I havent been able to get the Vent server up yet. Its on a corrupt disk that i have to get into. The problem lies in that the new vent server has a population restriction. I need to find the Old version to install on the server that doesn't have that restriction. If you want me to put up a different Comm's server let me know and ill get it installed. BTW my server is up but pretty barren due to everything is on this corrupt disk i need to transfer from.

Xfire is a pain in the ass as far as I'm concerned. maybe there is a learning curve with it?
The voice quality is great until your in game then it starts to cut out.?????????? especially when there is lots of action going on. I tried to talk with Bedpan yesterday but the quality was terrible and I gave up.
Am I doing something wrong??

Having Vent back on would be great! Personally I preferred it to Teamspeaks because of the announcement of who joined the channel. (and xfire as a back up for communication when everything else is down.)

I want Ventrilo back. I don't want to install yet another voice client on my computer... and maybe you guys should restart the 2142 server because VoIP isn't working, which led to extremely frustrating rounds for me.

Vent server is back up at ventrilo.texturae.net or ventrilo.oldmenonline.net use this client http://www.railgun.net/index.php?name=Downloads&req=getit&lid=97 . Make sure you uninstall the client you have first.

Cack you have the the newest one for our server. 2.14 is the older one, I have a post on how to install both Cack. I can explain it to you if you like. Or OMO could just get a new Vent sever..LOL
