OWO OMO, thought I would stop by your new digs and check them out. Looks great guys. What games you all playing most of the time now. Only see ya in Mercs once in a while. Saw Tendinitus last night as the chikens repeatedly raped us all in spawn before totally spawning. Thanks Tendinitus for sticking it out with us.

We all seem to be flitting around Heavy.
Some of us are dabbling in Impossible Creatures, while others are drving fast cars around in circles, ala NASCAR.
There is the usual HomeWorld gang.
I'm Doing some Mercs, and hoping that MOO3 comes out soon. Some others are biding their time waiting for FREELANCER to hit the shelves.
Hey.......does CMO ever sanction the use of cheats during a game? I'm just curious.

Hey Festus, no we don't santion them, heard ya caught Nikao trying to get into a game using a hacked mech. He forgot to select other mech before he dropped into game. He wanted to try it out as he has allways wanted to see what a raven could do with jumpjets. He feels pretty humbled right now. He will get razzed about this one. We are still human folks and still make mistakes ourselves .He posted his response on our Forum on the Merc thread if you wish to scold him

Hey Heavy thanks for dropping in and registering @ our new Site Portal!
For me Mercs just became too boring with all the damn cheaters. Besides that I couldn't ever get a consistent group of OMO to play so...
As Festus indicated we have a bunch of guys playing IC (I will sell you my copy if your interested) 
We also have a few of us waiting for FreeLancer. It looks like the server limit for FL is going to be 128 BUT... there is no indication what it will take to run that many clients. Over at LancersReactor they have lined up a Dual P3 1.4Ghz w/ 3 Gb RAM on a 45Mbps connection... they are expecting that it will host up to 40 something (I'm not sure there are any real hard facts yet... at least there are none that I have found).
I plan on throwing up a server... might even use the server for Win2k MW4 Server since it rarely gets a hit any longer. The worlds are persistant so it could be some great fun to drop in on occasion. Oh and from what I've heard there is like a 1000 limit on the number of client accounts on each persistent world. That could be pretty interesting. I'll be posting more on FL as soon as I get it.

Just to be cvlear heavy....my only plan wa to "Razz" him.
My sense of humour can be cruel sometimes. I was very surprised to see that message and never thought that Nikao would do something like that during a game.
I will be sure to pop over and explain on your boards too. :)

Did you ever play Privateer (1 or 2), Frontier, or Elite? It is that kind of a game.

I might play it... I don't get the persistence of the universe with only 1000 accounts... is that per server? So where then does the 128 clients come in from? I am confused... I just did my taxes (and getting $3K out of it! )

Simutaneous connections is supposed to be 128 max. This is like in Mercs you can only have 24 max.
Since it is a persistant universe there can be up to (supposedly) 1000 user accounts per server with only 128 of them on at the same time.
The user accounts are specific to a server and can not be moved. If you want you can have multiple accounts and accounts on multiple servers just understand that they are not transferable.
Pretty much all the info I have so far. WingCom may have some additional info to add.
