Hello all I am Mophius. I play with the guys in EVE Online and also been playin on your OMO server on Battlefield 2. I have come to know Pace and Petrified on EVE and would like to know more of you guys. I am Bryantia's husband and from what I hear she is getting accepted into the OMO. I being the jealous one want to be accepted too. The only thing i ever get accepted for is stupid credit card offers in the mail offering great intrest rates of 0% only to hit me up with a 30% on all purchases after 3 months....
Needless to say I need friends... Cuz the credit guys seem to want me and I dont want them. Besides I dont want to join a credit clan that wants to put me in the poor house.
In final... I am only 28.. I own a construction company, have a child... and on my wits end. I think that should be good enough to join you guys in misery. Oh and i am already bald...
Thanks for hearing me out... cuz my wife never does.... =)

Hi there Mophius. I'm sure to see you on the battlefield soon. I don't play as much as the addicts do and thereby I retain some of my sanity. For the rest, there is little hope. Keep an eye on the forum pages here. See you around.

Whoo-hooo, I have seen you on the BF2 server but haven't squaded up with you yet. I am looking forward to it. By the way, watch out for these guys (myself included) <whispering> "we aren't quite right in the head." C'ya around.

uh oh... The EVE boyz are talking about a "rule" violation. Mophious, I feel your pain brother. You've got a full life at your age. The OMO club is made up of a bunch of drifters and has beens. We try to stick to a few "rules" though. One of the requirements, over 35 years old, has been breached with mixed results.
Hey Listen, you keep hangin' out though eh. I'll be a lookin' fer ya on the battlefield

Mophius:
Just remember, nothing is decided until it is decided. That said, we usually take a minimum of a few months to make any given decision. Sooo, keep hanging with us in EVE and shooting those sorry OMOs in BF2, and we'll see what happens when it happens.
btw: Nosey does have a point, so just to be straight with you, there are some hurdles beyond the normal slow moving old people way of doing things.

Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. ... We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Hey Mophius! I've run into you a few times! You always seem to be defending what I'm attacking or attacking what I'm defending! LOL! Keeping plugging and get on our side once in awhile so we came gage your 'team" play. Getting on Vent is a plus too!

It should be noted that the main thing the OMO is looking for are Mature players. Age is usually a good indicator of one's maturity, however, as we all know, being old does not make one any more mature as being young. So it is always a case-by-case situation. The 35 marker is more a guideline than anything else.

Hey guys, I really dont want to stir up any problems or trouble. I of course dont care too much for drama and that sort of thing so i try to steer clear from it (Despite what Bry tells ya)
I belong to no clan or guild or that sorta thing so if the rest of you guys dont mind Is it ok just to chill out here? I really like playing BF2 with you guys, and still trying to learn the ropes of Team Play. I am more of a Unreal Tourney / Doom / Quake III type frag player. So BF2 is a nice change of pace.
P.S. I do have Vent so i might see you guys on there.
Take it easy. Mop
