Yeah, that's what I thought too. 
It's true and as easy as adding the -use24players command line switch. Once the dedicated server comes up it will allow you to use the pulldown menu to select more than 16 players.
So, you all need to log on and give it a spin. Leave a post here as to the lag issues and overall performance.

ahhh, the lag issues I won't have to experience... then again, the gameplay i won't get to experience is hardly compensory

Of course, Festus. The only reason that you don't have your old access is that I'm currently running on my dual proc system. The original Win2k box is down for a proc and memory upgrade. Once it is back online so with be your admin access.
