It's like you guys are talking a foreign language, not sure I can get into this game. Do they have a G3 semi auto or SAW 249?

LOL,
Stingray, learn from the masters (Fossil, Petri, etc). I only played 4 months or so of WoW and it did take a bit to learn the lingo and all.

Well I spent my lazy Sunday afternoon reinstalling Vista 64 and SP1, all went very well I must say. I wish MS would just keep updating SP1 so we don't have to update 50 or more files, sure made the install much easier.
AOC is supposed to be enhanced for DX10 and 64 bit processors yet it still seems to be a 32 bit game, not sure how that works.
Either way AOC is installed and ready to go on my vista drive. From what I've read, my rig should be able to play with everything on high.

I'm worried about my CPU, I have P4 3.4 so I might have to lower the setting quite a bit. It runs CoD4 just fine even though CoD4 recommends a faster CPU. If it's too much of a problem I might not be able to play, I can't shell the money for one now.

Yeah Fosssil, I think you should be fine. COD4 is pretty hefty, so if you can run that you should be OK on AoC.

I have a 8500GT Nvidia, It's well with in the range of what they require. It sure made a difference when I upgraded to it from my 6800 in CoD4

I bet it did. LOL. You will be just fine. Maybe have to set a bit lower than the highest levels, but still fine.

Was reading the PVP Q&A page and it said that along with the battle keeps there will be towers that smaller guilds can take over and maintian. They are not as valuable as the keeps but still offer bonuses and have much lower upkeep cost. I say we go for one of those.
Necro not good in PvP? Shrug. I like a challange. I will prob start a lot of classes and lvl up a few. I am also a big fan of crafting and will have a lot of time to play. Whatever crafting type that is the most time intensive and most needed I am willing to do. I dont think I will play until it launches. I am into CoH with my GF right now so its keeping me buisy.

Any one that has registered at the new BCO site and wants into the AoC forums and you don't see them towards the bottom of the forum list, please send a request to join the group (instructions on the top of every thread and post) We have a few OMO's registered, but some I don't know if they want in on the AoC forums or not.
Also, we have the ability to do YouTube videos in our posts, so if you find anything AoC and post worthy, please do so.

I did enjoy playing it. The main issue was that there was nudity in the game and my wife would throw a hissy fit. Heck, she throws semi hissy fits over City of Heroes and that mainly due to skimpy clothing. For me to pick up another game with skimpy clad women would be cause for a riot.
Warhammer is tame compared to AoC's 'revalations'.

LOL, my wife wishes I was still playing AoC, as I have been spending almost all my free time doing Photo Shop Tutorials, and some of the subjects are real nudes. lol No, she really could care less.
Anyway, the server mergers may be the only thing to save the game on the PVE side. The PVP RP server we played on for the majority of the time was pretty populated, but when I went and played PVE on SET for a while it was sad. You would run into another player about every 15 minutes. Just sad.
I wish that Warhammer had held some interest for me, as I miss the MMO gaming, but it just was not of interest at all when I played the beta/demo. Hope that the next big MMO comes out soon.

Next Big one will more likely come from Bioware: The Old Republic.

AoC had tons of potential but fell flat on it's buggy face in the end.
The most "pretty" MMO I've seen but looks aren't everything. The melee combat was awesome especially when you got a crit!
But the spawn camping and the CTD in the end was just too much to handle.
WAR is by far the better game as far as far as PvP goes. Stick to WoW if PvE is your thing though.
The old Republic will probably be my next MMO as well Perri, how many years till release though?
