This afternoon there should be some prices out there. It may drop the prices on 8800 cards.

It's the same G92 chip as the newer 8800GTS and the 8800GT with higher speeds and can do triple SLI.

Read the review on Toms Harware. It is the fastest thing out overall next to the 9800 X2.

Im waiting for a price drop. But im ok with my setup till it happens. Crysis bench with everything on high but AA, which is off is 39.4 FPS at 1024x768. Very playable and looks great. Could get by with AA at 2x at around 30 FPS but all is good without it.Beautiful game tho and I cant wait for the Mech mod.

But they weren't overly impressed with it. Infact at higer resolutions, they said the Ultra was better in some situations. If you already have an 8800xxx, you can sli it with another 8800xxx for relatively cheap and keep kicking butt.

Spec, X2 has already had an effect on the 8800's, a GTX can be had for $289 with rebate. Gonna pick one up in a few weeks and SLI it to the one I have now and wait for the next series. I have a feeling the 98xx is not going to have a very long run.
