OK, got the game. It's fun, and I have been on our server. Got Vent up and running so everyone can laugh while I stumble around blindly. :) Actually got a kill or two.
Rather than weeks of trial and error though, how about a little help?
Where could one find a printable version of all multiplayer map layouts? Preferably with spawn points marked. Especially that square one with the statue in the courtyard. LOL I felt like I was in a house of mirrors.
The alternative is loading my own private server and wandering around alone on each map. The only maps I do that in anymore have deer or other large game animals in them. :)
Tried the search function over at Charlie Oscar Delta. Worse than useless.

just play a lot, Expired did have some cool maps before the server blew up. maybe he can post them again.

Blue I feel your pain, from what I have experienced that map(the square one) is a house of horrors! I think you spawn everywhere in that one. some you spawn at one end or the other, I think it depends on the type of game, capture, smear the qu**r, sabotage, team death mayhem, I have learned some, but others I spawn in and am lost.

Just play often, and you'll get to know the maps. Watch the kill cams so you know where people are killing you from, also shows why your getting killed so often so you can change your tactics.
Maps really aren't that big, nothing like BF2, yet there seems to be a lot more places to hide in them, or as other call it taking up "strategic positions" aka camping.
I saw yesterday you were taking cover much more which is a good thing. If your gonna run, make sure you're running from cover to cover and you have enough sprint to make it there.
Don't forget, you and the enemy can shoot through most walls and barriers! Also don't forget about UAV's 3 kills in a row gets a UAV for your team. Just hit the 6 key to bring it up. Same with helo's and copters.
