I'm thinking about a steering wheel cus the joystick is ok but even in the options screen if you look at it, it's jumping back and forth even when I'm not touching it.

What I'd like to know is what you are using, price, and any pros and cons for it.

I am also using a really old Sidewinder. Not sure what you are using for paddle shifters. I was using the 2 buttons to the right of the hat switch but a little akward so I am now using the hat switch with trans in full manual mode. Works pretty good. The reason I want a wheel is the Sidewinder has some slack when centered and in controls you can see the ball moving back and forth when I'm not touching it. Someone suggested calibrating but didn't help much.

I'm hoping the Wheel will be here by Wednesday.

I use my joystick. I was going to get a wheel but, I drove too much with the joystick before doing so. Now, i'd have to re-learn how to drive. The joysticks works pretty good. You might try turning down the sensitiviy a little. That will tighten up the slack in your stick..also, try not to oversteer. Your car will go it's fastest when you let it run straight instead of weaving back and forth across the road.
On the race tracks stay high on the straight away and low in the turns. You will notice your car will almost guide itself that way, and you will turn faster laps.
