Anyone with a 8000 series card or better can now use PhysXs on board.
New drivers here...
http://www.nvidia.com/content/forcewithin/us/download.asp
Also Warmonger is a free to download and it takes adbvantage of the technology.

Can't reach the site from work, but if I read you right, this means that my 8800 will run PhysXs with these drivers? Or do I need a PhysX card?

From the site link "Learn More":

Nvidia bought out PhysX a few years ago and sell the tech as both standalone cards and as part of their high end GPUs.
When you read the Nvidia site it says that the PhysX supported cards are:
GeForce GTX 280 GPUs GeForce GTX 260 GPUs GeForce 9800 GTX GPUs AGEIA PhysX Processor (All)
I DLed off of FilePlanet yesterday but did not install yet. I was about to, then went to Nvidia to double check what the site said about the GTX280 drivers for XP 64. Weird thing is it still says use 177.41.
Gonna make a system restore point and install and benchmark.

Zotac AMP Edition 9800 GTX 772/1930/2346
Noticed a big improvment in Unreal Tournament 3. Framerate was around 62 FPS all the time. Nice improvement in explosion detail, fragments from impacts better. Every setting of the game topped out.
Ill post about the included game when I install it.

All installed without a hitch on my Vista 32. Warmonger has some interesting graphics. The demos are nothing special. I don't have UT3!

I have the 8800GTS w/512MB. Is this new driver worth installing or should I stay with what I have?

I've asked about this thing myself Cathy. My 8800GT W/512MB runs at 700mhz already. Is this driver right for me ? It doesn't say so specifically on the web sites I've looked at.

Its just the physx enabled driver. Dont sweat it. I havent thought about it once after doing it. Its Nvidia not ATI. Relax. If your game has the extensions it may improve the graphics. But its still the newest driver. Always good to use.
