I saw the race angle in the chocolate bunny analogy. I just chose not to go there. Next time I'll use a White Chocolate Bunny, but it's not as tasty on the outside.

I can't vote for a woman with a hairdo like that! Terrible!

I agree with Stingray and Burnz.

I think it depends on what state you live in, but in Utah where I live, the pick is solid and will insure clear victory here. Of course McCain would have won Utah anyway, but the VP pick is seen as neutral. Most here wanted Romney, as he was a Utah resident and helped plan and put on the best Winter Olympics in history here!

As for my personal feelings on Palin are that I think she is a Washington "outsider" and that is exactly what we need. She is tough and will go after corruption, as she has proven already. She must be doing things right with a 80% plus approval rating, and that is with lots of controversy in the state too. She is for going forward with drilling in Alaska, as well as, looking at other fuel options. I do very much disagree with some of her very "right wing" views on things like abortion rights and gay marriage, but for the most part I think she is solid.

To be perfectly honest, I was somewhat undecided until Obama picked Biden as his VP. What? Biden is all that is wrong with Washington and can't believe that Obama went that way. Only thing worse would have been picking the Clintons (er, Hilary Clinton). When Palin was the pick for McCain I became 100% sure of my vote for McCain/Palin in Nov. :)

I know both parties have "issues" with experience and "insiders". It's a toss up to some extent. I did read the Sarah does in fact have that extreme view on anti abortion even in cases of rape and incest. In my humble opinion, that is sick and twisted. That's just me though. It is possible that John won't make it through his first term. I hope that is not the case if he is elected, don't get me wrong. He's a good man for sure. It's just that W has tainted my pea brain's perception of the GOP to such a degree that I can not bring myself to pull the lever for him. I know Obama is a bit of smoke and mirrors. I ain't THAT stupid (close). I like the idea of nothing getting done though. Would that be that bad. A federal gov't that does get anything done. I'm thinking there could be a spending freeze or something. What a concept.

On a seperate note, I haven't heard of any bathing suit photos from Sarah's beauty contest days. Anybody got a link...LOL

I think that is by far the biggest problem with abortion supporters.

The baby you are going to kill is not even a thought in your mind when you said that. I can assure you, that baby wants to live. I can also tell you that baby was not responsible for that rape or incest. But, you have no problem dealing it a death sentence so you don't get a squirmy feeling about it.

Can you see how someone who DOES think about an innocent, helpless, babies welfare might think that you are the one that is extreme? And, that their belief that a baby should be cherished and cared for, even if it is inconvenient or squirmy feeling, is a perfectly rational and morally correct belief?

Yes BP I know there is no easy answer. There are two sides to the coin. I am no claiming that I am right and Sarah is wrong. It is an opinion and belief that I have regarding rape and incest. Knowing that it can result in the miracle of life, I am not convinced that it is an act of God in these instances, but perhaps the other (darker) side.

I'm hoping we don't go too far down the Abortion road, I'm looking at Sarah's positions as the VP. The other issue I had was the Climate Change debate. Even W has admitted the science is clear that man IS contributing to this. He fought it for years, but there is just too much very simple science out there now to make it a real argument. I will be happy to post some links if someone request it (you gotta read it though). So Sarah is still saying that man does NOT have any role in Climate Change. OMG is she that far out in the frontier that she's not getting the news (sorry that was an attack).

Al Gore is an idiot (just had to stay that off the top. lol)

Yeah, the climate is warming right now and man is not helping I am sure. But.... No matter what we do as humans, we will still always pale in contrast to what nature can do. Look back at climate history for even the last million years and you will be scared to death. The planet goes through cycles on it's own (no help or hurt from man). The science is pretty deep and not something really useful here, but think of the earth as a living thing that will adjust it's thermal balance all the time. The ice will all melt, it will flood coastal regions, and then the other changes that go with that (more plant life, more rain clouds, etc) will cause the earth to cool and we will see an ice age again. You and I will most likely not see much of this, but your kids may see the coastal flooding, etc and their kids may see the slow "Global Cooling" and will freak out about that too.

Climate changes are really not that big of a deal when you compare against the issue of air quality. Bad air (i.e. LA, China, India, etc) is the biggest issue I see long term from the continued use of fossil fuels. However, when you think of things from a short term (i.e. 20 years or so), you need to think of national security and the problem of forign oil dependency. I say drill in Alaska, off the coasts, etc and lets cut our ties with the middle east. At the same time, lets push towards Hydrogen and other renewable fuel sources and make a platform for the future.

Or, just fill your tires with more air ;) LOL

As for the abortion issue, I will not get into it either, but I will say that freedom of choice is most important. That goes for most social matters.

I could put up another shot that is a censored nude shot, but I don't want to get in trouble. The point is she is HOT. I like her and John in different ways. I'm just not inspired to put them in a leadership role that's all.

Pelosi and Hillary need to have an exorcism performed on them. Scary.

What's her nuts (I'm sure she has them, but can't remember her name) is ugly, but at least does not looked possessed.

Looked great, sounded great, and punched Barack in the mouth several times to boot!

I just turned off Larry King who had 3 sorry excuses for libs as guests who were trying to do damage control. Lovely.
