I have been taking care of this for some time now and I'm not seeing anybody using it with the exception of Catheter and a few unknowns that happened to stumble onto an unused vent.
Since everyone seems to be using the BCO vent I'm thinking I should cancel the OMO vent and contribute my funds towards theirs.
Would anyone object? should I keep it going?

I didnt know we had a vent still running, otherwise I would have been in it.

I would be happy to donate towards it if needed. let me know.

I have no opinion on whether or not it is needed...

If there is a game that enough of us play, perhaps it could come in handy. I like to chat on the BCO Vent though. We can't have two open at one time can we? I say let it go though.

Actually, I think that ours says "BCO/OMO Vent Server" already.

If it was getting used it wouldn't be an issue. Nobody does SOoooooooooooo?

The one thing I do like about the OMO having their own game and vent servers is the fact we have admin rights and can boot/ban smacktards or change the game if needed.

lol @ Sting

Yes, the admin rights are a convenience. However, given actual usage, it does not make a lot of sense for DB to keep his vent server running if he is paying for it out of his own pocket (I thought this was run off your home server, DB – is it rented?).

I rent it through Instantventrillo.com It's cheap, like 7 or 9 bucks a month. not a big deal if it gets used, but if it doesnt, I would like to contribute the funds to a place we all go to.

I'm on vent nightly. The only problem is its on Bloody's. Rarely do I see anyone on ours and I always look the first before I move to Bloody's. Now the other one, I can't get up and working so I have no idea who's on that one..

CANCELED the account.
It will be up and running through Friday and thats it.

A little back ground on this server.....
My Son Cole wanted a server for his buddies, So I rented one for him. They Didnt Use it after a while and there was a few OMO's that wanted a vent server because they (and I) didn't like Team Speak. So I kept this one open for us. We used it for the winter then it just dropped off.

Yep. It is on my Christmas list. I miss hanging out and shooting you all..... or was that being shot???? LOL Does CoD 5 play fast like CoD4? I don't like slow shooters. I have been so busy lately I don't know much about it to tell you the truth. Who plays regularly?

I jumped on CoD4 a bit yesterday. It can play as fast as CoD4 at times, but for the most part is a click or two slower pace. Still faster than BF2.

Compared to CoD4, graphics seem much better. For some reason CoD4 graphics seemed washed out and slightly dated already!

I really like the maps, few are the same size as CoD4, but almost 1/3 are considerably bigger.

Overall, I think I actually like CoD5 more.
