So I'm looking in my case through the window and found my PSU [fan]*edit not turning at all. That fits nicely into the bad things catagory. I'm wondering if that is causing some pauses in game.
So after a bit of research, they, the gurus and such, say the ideal Power Supply Unit has one rail with lots of power.
so this is what I got....

Actually I got it through another company cause newegg.ca does not stock it. And paid more.
Anyways, what is everybody else using?

I'm using this one.
Overkill I guess. My OCZ 750w PS couldn't handle my 8800's in SLI. Surprised guys are able to get the one you listed to work with Ultra's SLI'd

Needless to say, it doesn't break a sweat. I maybe looking at 280's SLI'd in the future or maybe the new 295. Prices need to come down though.

I'm running one EVGA gtx260 Superclocked, so I think I'll be ok. The manufacter recommends 450W min and 30A

No doubt, you'll have plenty of power for single card with out dimming the lights.

Only gets hot when I hook the fridge to it. I got it for $250 with free shipping. Couldn't resist.
Lights in the neighborhood do time when I turn on my computer though. lol

I use this one right now. I have always liked Antec and their customer service/warranty is great. I had an older unit go out and it was still in warranty. I sent it to Antec and because it was not a current product, they simply sent me a new model that was even better than the original.
Anyway, I use this 1000 watt with a quad core, GTX280, etc. and all on water cooling (bigger wattage needed to run coolers, etc) and I still am a bit short on USB power to the front panels. Not sure if it's short cause of pure power, or mobo not getting all 10 USB ports powered right.
