Oh my goodness I feel like an idiot.
I needed to change the brightness level on my 24" dell Ultra sharp since having my Lasik Eye surgery. It was just a little too bright. My eyes are a little sensitive to light now. It will get better in a week, but for now dimmer is better.
SOoo I go into the monitor configuration and notice different options for how the monitor is plugged in to the Vid card. Mine was set to vga.
DUH! I changed it to HDMI and WOW!!! What a difference. God I feel stupid that I had been running that forever.

Nosey, On your monitor! You have adjustments for brightness, contrast centering the screen and possibly what input. Mine had a few choices. It's not in the PC, ON THE MONITOR.

My distance vision is a little fuzzy right now, but the doc said to give it a little time it will come back to be sharp! Close up is better than average.
It is freaking AWESOME! Ive only been wearing glasses for the last 8-9 years, but That was enough. It's nice to get rid of them!!!
