'Evenin' folks. I've been a OMO wannabe since I don't know when, but I've got two questions for 'ye. FIRSTUS: is there anybody still playin' Homeworld in WON or anyplace else? I've downloaded updates and stared at the WON site 'til my oatmeal gets cold (It's 'fer my bowels 'ya know). SECONDUST: Shoot, now I've done forgot my question... Alright, so maybe it's operator failure or my medications mixed up again, but dadgumit it worked just 10 months ago when I was still in Virginia (the STATE you degenerate whippersnapper!). I'd appreciate any info/advice/money you might send. Tanks,

Well first of all , my name is FESTUS. Not FIRSTUS.
Yes WON is up and generally working, and there are lots of OMO in there, but they often smurf so they can get games. So try paging them in the lobby and asking them to whisper you.

Glad to see some people still in the game - thanks for the return note Festus. And by the by, I meant "Firstus" as in "First" question, etc (it's a West Virginian sorta slang). It's okay, my memory isn't what it used to be either. So, I guess my problem now (in addition to wrinkles and hair loss) is to try and figure out why the multiplayer/internet/login menu won't take me to WON. It asks for a download, I get it from the WON site, execute it, reboot, then back to the login where it asks for it again. Truly annoying.

Have you downloaded the "1.5 patch"? Without it you can't get on WON.
...and yes....many OMOs in there smurfin. Had about 6 in there mid-day yesterday terrorizing the natives. We smurf...cause no one will play us otherwise. Guess we kinda scarwy.
WON is the only site to use for HW. Any other would be quite lonely...

Good one Firstus that kinda funny bro....LOL...Its also nice to know that alot of other smurf for the same reason. Most people leave our games when they see 3 OMO's together

Thanks gang - I've tried the 1.5 patch, but still can't get onto WON. It's a pain in my already aching back. I'm in email contact with my (Belgian) internet provider trying to figure out the possible firewall setting problems associated with my DIVA multiport/DSL box. Even hitting the right buttons sometimes doesn't work around this part of the world...
Glad to see there's still OMO players around in WON; if I ever get there I'd like to try and get nominated for OMO membership. You guys rock (if only in your chairs).
