..a die-hard fan of Star Trek initially I was a little turned off by this series. I watched it for the first couple episodes but didn't find it interesting enough to continue watching.
However, for kicks I started ordering, beginning with the first season, the entire trilogy and have been watching before going to bed. I really like it. I guess it's alot better when you can watch one episode after another. The story lines move faster and not commercials is a plus.
I liken it to LOST. Same thing there. Never watched until season 5. Got the full series from Netflix, season 1. Watched it and now am a fan..
Just bored I guess..

I agree... not having a TV has it's pluses: watching the whole at once instead of in part.

I got to watch all the episodes as they aired. I thought Enterprise was on of the best Star Trek series ever produced. I like the edgier emotions as they slowly moved to the rational behind the Prime Directive. Nice TV. I was bummed when the series ended because it was just starting to connect the dots leading to the original Star Trek, Enterprise NCC-1701 of Captain Kirk.

Ok, I just finished the series. I must say as the show went on it got much better. The last season was great! Sad to see it end. That Jolene Blalock is a hotty. What was really interesting was the features describing what was going on behind the scenes. Some of the stats about Star Trek, etc. ENTERPRISE ran 97 episodes and supporters raised almost 3 million to donate trying to give it a 5th year. The stats on how many Star Trek episodes is enormous and the number of years a Star Trek show was onair was like 38 years? or something like that. What's really cool about renting the episodes is there are some episodes where you watch the episode normally. Then you can rewatch with commentary. Again, interesting to hear some of the "behind the scnenes" stuff. In any case, I would recommend anyone watching the series. Make sure you start out from the beginning. I also saw the entire series you can purchase at Barnes and NOble the other night for 29 bucks with membership.

Spock is showing up at this years Star trek convention in Tulsa. I'm not much of a "treky" but I might venture up there and see if I can get a pic of him using the Vulcan pinch on me!

The whole "Sylar as Spock" thing sorta creeps me out, but I will be first in line to see the movie.
For those of you who do not watch the series "Heroes" ... Sylar is the worst psycho killer in a series replete with them. He steals heroes' powers by opening their heads and seeing "how they work". And now he's Spock ... (shivers)

Have tickets for Saturday. Was never a huge trek fan but did enjoy the originals in re runs when I was a kid and did like Enterprise (that's the series with Juan Luke Picard isn't it?)
