I've seen that and it looks really good, but the question is will those vehicles/choppers be useable. COD5 trailers showed vehicles and assault boats being used that were never in the release.

I would have to guess no way with the jets, helos, etc. My understanding is it's built on the same Unreal3 engine that COD 4 and 5 are on. If this is the case, the Unreal3 engine is great, but only for small scale and limited vehicle usage. I could be wrong about the engine though.

No one playing COD5 anymore? COD 4 was fun for a while but it lacked staying power. I see COD5 was the same. Hopefully COD6 will be different.

Most likely not if other OMO and BCO are not. In fact, I think I will play less and less human FPS - most likely will go back to Mecha and Descent 3 style ones if for whatever reason Jump Gate: Evolution does not work out.
But the CTF... man, I love CTF. Anything other than FFA or simple Team vs. Team. Goals are what people fight over.

BCO/OMO CoD 5 server is still active. 3 or 4 good games a week I'd say. New map pack is on the way in June which should keep me interested until BF1943.
Then CoD 6 and BF:BC2 this winter.
Heart, seriously doubt you see aircraft in MP.

I just watched the trailer. Eh... I get a lot of action from CoD5, not sure how they can improve it apart from more maps.

I'm looking forward to Huxley. It's a MMOFPS (first person shooter with hundreds - thousands on a server and progressive with MMO features). I signed up for the beta at FP, should be good. They have been working on this game for years now. The latest in game video from Korean testing is very cool.
The more I play MMOs like WoW, AoC, etc the more I feel that FPS games are missing a huge part of what makes games enjoyable for months or years, and that is the progression of the game. COD series, BF series, etc all are great fun for a short stay, but after you have seen every part of every map, and have every gun and piece of equipment, then who cares? They just are not deep enough for prolonged game play. Give me a game I go back to over and over so I can advance up the ranks, get more equipment, unlock new areas, etc.

Some of us aren't looking for prolonged game play.
Quick in and out. Not complicated. Why CoD suits me so well.
Having said that, I hope to give Huxley a try.

Not speaking of long runs of playing, but rather long term. I have jumped into WoW for a battleground (they are scheduled and non scheduled) for 30 min and then jumped back off to finish real life battles. ;)
However, I do know that games like WoW take much more "work" in terms of research, planning, etc than many want to do.

The vote for having a COD6 server at BCO was overwhelming, so we will set something up. We may wait until after launch to see what providers are giving best overall pings, etc. Most likely we will have Stingray in charge and set up admins etc.

More than likely TLB will have one too. Drop us the IP of yours as our guys are always looking for another server to play on.

Festus, let us know who you go with for your server. We are still trying to find the best provider and cost. Seen prices from $.99 / slot to $2.49 / slot.
