Smoke and mirrors. It may not be a public plan, but it will be a setup for one later. If this bill, with its 1000+ pages of gobbldygook written by left wing wackos like Pelosi, passes we will have more crap than anyone can imagine.
I love Obama backing off of the public option, but that bill has to die and a new one not created in a dark hole by people I loathe (think LoTR and Saruman's pits) will have to take its place before I have any chance of supporting health care reform.
Not to say I do not want reform, but the people in power now are only interested in remaking this county into a socialist image. Just keep feeding them rope to hang themselves with until the next election without letting them pass Cap and Trade, Obamacare, and the wholesale naturalization of illegals and I will be much happier.

Anything more he or the current Congress proposes should die a miserable death. His poll numbers are going to be worse than Bush's before the end of the year if he keeps pushing his anti-growth, anti-freedom, and pro-biggering of government.
