No demo per se Expired, rather a sort of closed beta. Minecraft was free back when it was an alpha build, but it's now in beta. The way it works is you buy the game now (at pretty big reduced rate from what it will be at launch) and then you have access to beta and everything forward (including full game).

I had to buy an extra copy for my girls, they've been sharing my wife's copy for a while now and fighting each other who gets to play with their dad lol. They both have island east of my "play ground", game is a lot of fun for all ages.
Don't get turned off by the graphics like I did 6 months ago when my wife was playing, it's all about the sandbox concept where you can build your own world, think of it like a sim city but with other people.

did we get you whitelisted? Have to have the exact Minecraft username in there to be able to allow on server.

The girls loved the ship! we had to break into the side to gain access but i repaired and made a ladder for them. What where you thinking giving them TNT??!! lol I told them to only use it on their side of the world. I stole one of their fishing poles and caught some fish off my newly built boat dock in fossilville. Check out this roller coaster from the MC forums..

I've been fooling with the idea of an all underground city like a dwarven stronghold but I got so many projects in the works probably won't have time. daughters got grounded for not doing their home work before getting on mine craft, so I'll stay off for a night as well. The thunder are going to whip some Dallas butt tonight anyway I need to see that!
