Errors with Minecraft 1.6 patch you mean?
If so, try deleting the bin folder in your minecraft install C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft (remember you have to have hidden files/folders turned on so you can see them)

OK, I received a small donation for the server, so I paid for another month. The concern I have with keeping it going is the lack of use. I generally get on once a day and I know I never see anyone (sometimes my nephew). I hate to keep paying the $22 a month if it's not getting uses at all.
Let me know if I'm just missing people and it's being used. :)

Bloody, does Minecraft consume a lot of resources for a server or it is pretty "low calorie"?

It can, depending on the amount of player slots you want.
The biggest issue is always dedicated ram for Minecraft to use. We have just a 10-12 slot server and we use just over 1 gb.
I play on a "competitive / active economy" server that has 45 slots and it has to be scheduled to restart every hour and do a map save every 15 min. It also gets a bit laggy at times when at the full 45 slots.
On the flip side, I was running a small server for about 4-6 people off my own PC for a while and it wasn't laggy, but used lots of bandwidth.
I think in the long run, if your gonna run a MC server, your always best to find a good hosting company that specializes in MC. With constant updates, mods, etc. in MC, it takes a good host and an even better head admin.

Update:
Most likely going to be shutting down the server in the next couple weeks. Very low traffic now a days and doesn't make mush since to pay the $20 a month now.
A few of us from the server are playing some at timgaming.com now. It's a fun server with a full economy, mobs, and protections (purchase land/lots and then protected from griefers). If you try it out, be warned, you really need to go to timgaming.com and read the beginner guide before playing on the server.

BTW, we are going to run a very cool and hard mode map for the last 10 days. We just got it running and it's fun and different. Check it out.

It's fun, I played it quite a bit with my kids and nephew, we had so many accidents it was pretty comical. When my nephew first came on the server I told him NOT to destroy anything. First thing he does is cause a MASSIVE forest fire that burned for 2 days!

LOL
We noticed right before we took the old map down that someone had burned up a bit of your one house Fossil. Not sure if it was lighting or someone set it a blaze. Looked like most of it was still ok though.

This video is what originally peaked my interest in Minecraft. I figured any game that allowed you to mess up like that was worth playing.

Worst I have seen to date is what good old mum did with lava on our server. She had super admin powers (at the time at least) and wanted to put down a small line of lava for a project. Well, she must have left clicked somewhere way across the map then right clicked on her side of the map and did the //set lava command. Well, she actually called me on the phone and said "OMG I have ruined the server". I was like "what?". She said she had put a little lava down and it had gone everywhere. I log in to find lava from our city all the way through the subway system and into Fossilville. She single handedly destroyed nearly every creation we had all done for a month.
Thank goodness for backups to the map. We ended up loosing about 3-4 days worth of creations, but better than the whole damn thing. lol

Update:
I had a month credit on my account (they switched owners and think it was due to that), so I applied it to July. This means we have the server for one more month now.

A couple of my TB buds and I started Minecrafting a few weeks ago.
I had built this AWESOME underground, inverted Glass Pyramid. It was about 40-50 cubes per side to start and I worked it down to it's apex, hollowing out everything below to initial level to that same 70x70 dimension. You could see caverns, waterfalls, lava, monsters, etc thru it.
Unfortunately a backup failed and we lost it all and I didn't have the heart to start again from an earlier backup. I did get pics tho!

Here was my upstairs "patio".

And finally, here was my personalized Address at the front door:

We ended up starting a new world, and I've gone the "Rogue Explorer/Magellon" route this time. Built a decent base, and now I strike out randomly, marking my trail as I go. Sometimes I get very, very lost, especially if I build a portal to the Nether and travel that way.
I usually find my way back through dead reckoning via my markers or using a map that we generate of the world regularly.
Anyone else have trouble finding CLAY? I finally started finding lots of it by travelling sandy beachs and keeping my eyes open.

Beware that game is very addictive! I don't know if bloody still has his server up but he had a ton of awesome builds. See if you can't get him to let you on before he closes it down
