Has anyone gotten into Stellaris? It's not a true space 4X, it a fusion of that and grand stratey.

I've been keeping an eye on it Myo but I haven't made the jump yet.

Novus Ordo Seclorum

Knowledge is power... has been since time eternal. Arcane knowledge is thereby ultimate power and can
therefore lead to ultimate corruption. Wisdom (and the experience that comes with age) is a serum for corruption.
Perhaps that is why there are so many Old Men with Arcane knowledge and so few young ones...

I've been playing with it the past week. And the game-play is definitely slo... I mean grand.

I am still deciding whether I like it or not. Sins of a Solar Empire certainly plays faster, but there are some elements to Stellaris that makes it interesting so far.

I've been messing around with it this past week.

I'm enjoying it so far, though I haven't gotten far into a game yet (i.e., where it gets REALLY complicated).

Like a lot of 4x games, it goes at a slow pace and there are tons of things to manage.

If Arcane hadn't pointed out that it was on sale, I think I would've just stuck to Endless Space 2. But, as I said, I'm enjoying it. I'm playing on 2.0 and have no experience with earlier versions of the game. From what I've read, much has changed, but it's still play similarly with a few exceptions.
