I should've done this one 2 weeks ago...

I've been a big Leon Redbone fan for a long time. In college, a friend of mine and I wondered if he was actually Frank Zappa's alter ego. When, fortunately, we saw that he was doing a show at the student union, we made sure we were first in line. We were so close that we actually set our weed onstage. We came to the conclusion that he's not Frank Zappa. Zappa's death in 1993 provided further confirmation.

Anyways, here's Leon Redbone (real name, Dickran Gobalian) and his rendition of Please, Don't Talk About Me When I'm Gone.

Rest in Peace and don't count on me not talking about you.

Another Piedemont blues song...

Reverend Gary Davis, Hesitation Blues

I was introduced to this song, and Piedmont blues itself, by Hot Tuna. So, I included one of their versions as well.
