i seen there is a place on teamspeak for DoW and i have the open beta. i played the tabletop version some, had more fun painting and customizing my troopers than playing the game, but the beta has pulled me back in. Games-workshop has a crap load of info on all the races (if your new to the game)i hope they add all the different races as some good ones where left out, like the TAU with their sub-group the Kroot(not sure on the spelling) you've got to like have troops who eat their enemys after they kill them.

I'm on about 5pm-7pm est. and usually in the expert lobby. (only cause it is less crowded and easier to find people, not cause I'm that good. Grunter-OMO can vouch for that.)

I have tried to join the multiplayer, but get an "unable to validate CD key" message.

README sez I've got to reinstall, is that so? Or did anyone else get this problem?

Nevermind, I fixed it.

Had to uninstall and re-enter the CD KEY. Turns out the first number/letter in my key was 0 (as in ZERO) not O (as in the letter). Works fine now.

You can find me under the name "Festuss" cus some dirtbag has my name already.

I've tried it. Got spanked by some OMOs (they called it training), haven't been back.

That said, I should give it another try.

It is a great game! I am liking it more with every game. It has a lot of visual depth- if you're bored just watching the characters is amusing. It also has a lot of strategic depth -the little things really matter and the canned strategies that could be used in StarCraft or Homeworld will be a lot harder to implement (Gotta think on your feet!).tly, they have really put a lot of work into the playability of DoW -it is challenging but not hard, the games can be light and fast or long and brutal.

Great, great game.

Its a lot easier to do a good opening build and have the "trainie" record the game and watch what we do wrather than explaining the whole thing.

Just a shout to all the OMO's
Long time no see you guys.
Glad to see that there are some OMO's playing DoW.
I am on most nights so if you see someone playing as UglynOld then thats me. Confused as usual.

I have been playing a lot of Medieval thats where the UglynOld comes from. Well joined up with Obake that worthy from the world of Shogun and a visitor to the OMO forum often.

I had a great game with Bifocal this very night so if any of you other OMOs want to join me and a few of the other Uglis online to show the DoW youth what the more mature player can do give me a shout here or on the ugli site ugli.org
